Strato; a layer

Strato embodies the architectural tectonic and structural rigor. Each element is intricately interlocked to form a unified whole, yet maintains its own identity. Curvilinear lines are minimized, and tenon joints distinctly connect seats and legs while highlighting vertical and horizontal relationships. Wood, adept at bearing compressive forces, is used for linear components, while concrete, suited for tension, forms the few curvilinear parts. Playful contrasts emerge through wooden finger joints and concrete arches, underscoring the design’s ironic juxtaposition.
